Host Jeff Corwin travels to the richly diverse and beautiful

rainforests of Costa Rica to explore the fascinating world of

sloths, the country’s most iconic resident. Jeff will visit the

amazing Sloth Sanctuary where they rescue and rehabilitate

injured and orphaned sloths. Jeff will meet the charismatic

Buttercup, the 23-year-old three-toed sloth that inspired Judy and

her husband to start this sanctuary, will get a chance to feed and

play with baby sloths, will work alongside the veterinarians

helping the injured sloths, and will team up with zoologist Becky

as she conducts her cutting edge research to better understand

the lives of these intriguing and charming animals.
